Frank Sinatra was a giant of the showbiz world

Frank Sinatra, known to the world of entertainment as "Ol' Blue Eyes", was the master of the modern popular song.

His first single came out in June 1939 but he was not credited on the record, which was sold under the label of the Harry James Big Band.

During World War Two Sinatra became a huge star in the United States with songs like "I'll Never Smile Again" (1940) and "All Or Nothing At All" (1943).

After the war he managed to combine his singing with a successful career in the movies.

The following is a list of Sinatra hits which made the British charts, the highest number they reached and the number of weeks they remained in the charts.
