Afghan opium 'funds Taliban'


A new report from the United Nations warns that opium production in Afghanistan is having a devastating global impact.

It says the illegal trade is feeding the habits of millions of addicts and funding the Taliban war machine.

The UN Office on Drugs and Crime urges the international community to do more to fight drug production in the country.
