Afghan opium fuels 'global chaos'

The flow of opium from Afghanistan is creating havoc around the globe and fuelling the Taliban insurgency according to a new report by the United Nations.

It says Afghanistan produces 92% of the world's opium, the raw material for heroin. Europe and Russia account for more than a third of consumption.

The BBC's Russian affairs analyst, Steven Eke, has been investigating.
