Violence fails to deter Afghans

In Afghanistan's Helmand province, the governor's convoy came under attack as he travelled to a polling station.

The Taliban had threatened violence on anyone who tried to vote, but people in Lashkar Gah did not seem to be put off casting their ballots.

Caroline Wyatt was with the governor when his convoy was attacked, and reports from Helmand.
