Suu Kyi denies charges at trial

The Burmese democracy leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, has spoken for the first time at her trial, and denied breaking the terms of her house arrest.

She was charged after an American swam across a lake to visit her at her home, where she has been detained for 13 of the last 19 years.

Jonathan Head reports.
