Cyclone Aila kills 30 in Calcutta

Cyclone Aila has passed through the Indian city of Calcutta killing more than 30 people. Meteorologists say the cyclone, which made landfall in south-western Bangladesh on Monday, is now heading north.

At least 60 people were killed by Aila in Bangladesh, and about half a million people are in temporary shelters.
