India swears in historic PM


A new era has begun in Indian political history as Manmohan Singh has become the first person for 50 years to be sworn in for a second term as prime minister, after having completed a full term in power.

His Congress party has a stronger majority than before but he and the other members of his cabinet face a rocky road ahead. He is already having difficulties negotiating with a coalition partner.
