Pakistani government targets Taleban

Pakistan security forces have stepped up their campaign against the Taleban, with military fighter jets bombing targets within a 100 km radius of the capital Islamabad.

Officials say the aim of the offensive is to eliminate militant hideouts in the north-western district of Buner.

Mark Dummett reports from Islamabad.
