UN visit to help Sri Lanka's civilians

A senior UN human rights representative is visiting Sri Lanka to discuss the welfare of thousands of people displaced by fighting between government troops and Tamil Tiger rebels.

Walter Kaelin's visit comes as the government claims to be close to ending rebel resistance on the island.

Neil Bowdler reports.
