Sri Lankan cricketers under fire

Several Sri Lankan cricketers have been injured by gunmen in the Pakistani city of Lahore, six policemen escorting the team have been killed, along with a driver.

The gunmen attacked a vehicle taking the Sri Lankan team to a cricket stadium in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore.

The remaining uninjured members of the team have been evacuated from the stadium by military helicopter.

As a result of the attack, the second cricket Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka has been cancelled
