Kabul life: Weddings

Afghanistan is commonly associated with violence. In a country wracked by almost 30 years of war, in many places normal life simply goes on.

But in the capital Kabul, how do some of the city's five million people socialise?

Weddings are the social bedrock of the country. The BBC's Martin Patience goes along to one ceremony, and talks to Nasil Bayod, manager of the wedding hall.
