Tens of thousands of survivors are crowding into unsanitary relief camps following severe flooding in the Indian state of Bihar.

Reports suggest that many villages have simply been washed away by strong currents.

Damian Grammaticas joined one group of survivors as they travelled across the floodwaters to a temporary camp.
