Afghan opium harvest under way


Afghanistan's opium harvest is underway, despite the presence of British troops.

Their orders forbid them to interfere in the harvest, which provides the raw material for almost all the heroin sold in the UK.

The BBC's Tulip Mazumdar has been with the paras on patrol in the Helmand Province.
