Nato troops die in Afghan blast

Nato says two of its soldiers and a civilian have been killed by an explosion in eastern Afghanistan.

Two other troops of the Nato-led Isaf force were wounded by the blast as they carried out a patrol in Khost province.

Elsewhere in Khost, a police official and his driver were reported killed by a roadside bomb.

Earlier, Canada said one of its soldiers was killed and another wounded on Tuesday in a clash with militants in the southern province of Kandahar.
