Over 20 foreign soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan in 2008
The United States military in Afghanistan says a suicide bomber has killed two Nato soldiers in the east of the country.

Four other troops were hurt when the bomber drove a car laden with explosives into the gates of a government office in Khost province.

The office in Yaqoubi district was being guarded by the soldiers.

Violence linked to the resurgence of the Taleban militia has risen recently, killing thousands in 2007.

Taleban militants said Tuesday's attack was carried out by their recruits.

The number of international soldiers killed in Afghanistan this year has risen to 23 after the latest incident.
