Deadly clashes in southern Nepal
At least 20 people are now known to have died in clashes following the murder of a local politician in southern Nepal, officials say.

The death of politician Mohit Khan sparked rioting between rival groups on Sunday in Kapilbastu district.

Police initially said that only three people had been killed.

The chief government administrator in the district said police were still investigating the violence and could not say which groups were involved.

Several ethnic groups in the area have been organising protests to demand greater autonomy.
