Naga separatists extend ceasefire
Separatists in the north-east Indian state of Nagaland say they have extended their ceasefire indefinitely.

The move came on the 10th anniversary of the start of talks between the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) and the Indian government.

The rebels say the extension of the truce is subject to progress in talks.

India's longest running ethnic rebellion began in 1956. The rebels decided to negotiate with the federal government in 1997.
