Shias killed in Pakistan attack
Unidentified gunmen have killed three Shias in a suspected sectarian attack in north-western Pakistan, police say.

The three men were shot dead in an early morning ambush on the outskirts of the town of Dera Ismail Khan.

Dera Ismail Khan has been the focus of sectarian tensions since a suicide bomber killed two people in January.

The town has a history of sectarian attacks. Hundreds of people have died in violence between Sunni and Shia Muslims in Pakistan in recent years.
