India Pakistan talks 'to resume'
Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
India and Pakistan have said they will work together against terrorism
India and Pakistan have finalised a date to resume peace talks, on hold for three months after a series of bombings in India's commercial capital, Mumbai.

The Indian foreign ministry said the Foreign Secretary of Pakistan, Riaz Mohammad Khan, would visit Delhi for three days from 13 November.

Mr Khan will meet his Indian counterpart, Shivshankar Menon.

Negotiations broke down when India blamed militants from Pakistan for the recent Mumbai (Bombay) train blasts.

Nearly 200 people died in the July attacks, which Delhi blamed on Pakistan-based militant group Lashkar-e-Toiba.

The leaders of the two countries decided to resume the talks following a meeting last month on the sidelines of the non-aligned summit.
