Police in Indian-administered Kashmir say two suspected militants and a soldier have been killed in a clash.
The police said the incident happened in the Kushaal area in Doda district.
The identity of the militants has not been established so far, but police say two pro-Pakistan militant groups have been operating in the area.
Militant groups have been fighting an insurgency against Indian rule in Kashmir since 1989. The conflict has cost over 60,000 lives.
