Pakistan deaths in tribal region
A Pakistani army helicopter has crashed into a dam in the tribal region of North Waziristan, killing four people on board and injuring three.

The army said the helicopter was on a routine flight when it crashed into the dam near the town of Bannu.

Army officials ruled out a missile attack and said the crash was probably caused by a technical fault.

Separately, three paramilitary troops died when their vehicle hit a landmine in North Waziristan, the military said.

Three soldiers were also injured.
