Indians' reward in UK murder case
UK police have given rewards of nearly $100,000 to 12 people in India for helping in the arrest of a man accused of murdering a British teenager.

The 12 people in the state of West Bengal assisted in the capture of Maninder Pal Singh Kohli.

He is accused of raping and murdering 17-year-old Hannah Foster in the English city of Southampton in 2003.

Efforts to extradite Mr Kohli to the United Kingdom for trial for his alleged offences are continuing.

He was arrested last July in the eastern Indian hill town of Kalimpong after a 16-month investigation.

The arrest was made during a visit to India by Hannah's parents to publicise the case.
