Further violence in Karachi

Police in the Pakistani city of Karachi say three people have been killed in a further outbreak of sectarian violence late on Wednesday.

In one incident, two Shia muslims were shot dead.

In the second attack, a Sunni member of the right-wing Jammat-i-Islami party was shot dead.

At least thirty-five people have been killed in sectarian violence in Pakistan over the last week.
