Police in Bangladesh say at least 15 people have been injured in a stampede caused by a fire alarm at a clothing factory in Dhaka.
The alarm, activated during work on the roof of the multi-storey building, caused panic among the workforce.
Two of the injured are reported to be in a serious condition.
Correspondents say fires have been frequent in clothing factories in Bangladesh but recent safety measures have improved the situation.
The latest incident coincided with a protest in Dhaka in which 100 garment workers demanded further safety improvements.
