India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
has arrived in Russia for events marking the 60th anniversary of the Allied victory over Nazi Germany.
Mr Singh, who is on a three-day visit, will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin for talks on Monday.
The two leaders are expected to discuss the energy, information technology and banking sectors.
Analysts say another item on the agenda will be India's bid for a permanent seat on the UN Security Council.
Mr Singh is among 56 heads of state or government who are participating in the Moscow commemorations.
Mr Putin visited Delhi in December.
