Bomb suspects arrested in Lahore

The authorities in Pakistan say they have arrested three people they suspect were planning bomb attacks on a bus station in the eastern city of Lahore.

Officers also seized weapons, electronic devices and chemicals which they said could be used for explosions.

Police said the men had admitted links to an outlawed Islamic militant organisation but would not name the group involved.

The men are expected to come before an anti-terrorism judge on Saturday.
