Bangladesh's foreign minister has said the postponed summit of seven South Asian countries will now take place in Dhaka on 6-7 February.
Morshed Khan said a formal announcement would be made by Pakistan, which currently chairs the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation.
The 13th summit of SAARC was due to take place in January but was postponed because of the tsunami.
The new dates have been agreed by all the SAARC member countries.
Saarc groups India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan and Nepal.
