Pakistani troops killed in ambush

At least four Pakistani soldiers have been killed in a rocket attack in a remote part of Balochistan province.

Officials said four others were hurt when their vehicle was ambushed by unidentified gunmen.

The army is investigating amid reports that a group called the Balochistan Liberation Army claims responsibility.

Correspondents say the attack may be linked to local opposition to a government plan to set up new army garrisons in the mineral-rich province.
