Officials in Pakistan's South Waziristan tribal area say work is in progress to restart transmissions from a radio station after a bomb blast.
The aerial of the station - which began broadcasting last week - was damaged in Monday night's attack.
Authorities set up the station to explain to local tribesmen the military's hunt for al-Qaeda suspects.
Many locals accuse Pakistan's security forces of fighting against them on behalf of US troops in Afghanistan.
The bomb was planed near the station in the town of Wana, officials say - it is not known by whom.
The head of media affairs in the area, Shafiquz Zaman, told the BBC he hoped to restart transmissions within 24 hours.
Since last week, the station has broadcast six hours a day in local Pashto dialects.
