A Bangladesh Biman aircraft has skidded off the runway in bad weather in the northern city of Sylhet, critically injuring seven people.
The Fokker F-28 careered into a water ditch at the end of the runway. Almost all of the 80 passengers and crew suffered some injuries.
Flight BG601 from Dhaka was landing in low visibility and rain.
It took six hours to cut two of the injured from the plane's cockpit, including the pilot.
The pilot was named as Shahana Akhtar and her cockpit passenger was Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury, a former government adviser and former Bangladesh Biman chief.
