A helicopter has crashed in the north-eastern Indian state of Meghalaya, killing all 10 people on board, officials say.
Among the eight passengers were four politicians, one of them a state minister, Chittaranjan Sangma. The two pilots also died.
The helicopter crashed soon after taking off from Guwahati in Assam bound for the Meghalayan capital, Shillong.
It is not clear whether bad weather or technical failure was to blame.
