India boat accident 'kills 16'

Officials in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh say 16 people have drowned and another 11 are missing after the boat in which they were travelling, capsized in the Krishna river at Nagayalanka.

Reports say another 21 people swam to safety.

The police say the accident could have happened because the boat was overloaded.
