Three militants killed in Kashmir
Police in Indian-administered Kashmir say three suspected militants have been killed in clashes with the army in two areas in the district of Poonch.
A police spokesman said two of the men were members of the hardline Lashkar-e-Toiba movement. In a separate operation, Indian Border Security forces say they have arrested three alleged militants - including two commanders - in the provincial capital Srinagar. They named them as Fayaz Ahmed Teli, Bilal Ahmed Khan and Javid Ahmad Khan. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
