Britain to examine Kashmir funding
India says Britain has promised to look into the alleged funding by Muslims in the United Kingdom of militants in Kashmir.
The issue, along with defence cooperation and trade, was raised by the Indian deputy prime minister, LK Advani, at talks in London with British ministers. An official at the Indian High Commission in London said Mr Advani has met with his counterpart, John Prescott and is scheduled to meet the Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw, later on Thursday.
