In pictures: Karachi bomb attack
A car bomb has exploded outside the US consulate in the southern Pakistan city of Karachi, killing 11 people and seriously wounding several others.
Security forces rushed to the consulate after the blast...
...which created a huge gap in the consulate wall

The blast incinerated several vehicles
Many of the victims are thought to have been security guards or drivers
Survivors, many seriously injured, were rushed to hospital...
