In pictures: Afghan minister mourned
Hundreds of mourners have attended the funeral of murdered Afghan Aviation Minister Abdul Rahman in the capital Kabul.
Crowds gathered at the city's central mosque for the ceremony, before a huge cavalcade accompanied the coffin to a cemetery on the outskirts of town.
Family members were overcome with emotion
Hundreds of officials and soldiers walked with the coffin...
...which was wrapped in the new Afghan flag
In a show of unity, all male members of the interim government attended
About 500 people turned out to pay respects...
... while women kept to the sidelines
