Bihar politician back in jail
A court in the northern Indian state of Jharkhand has sentenced the former chief minister of Bihar, Laloo Prasad Yadav, to 14 days in judicial custody in a corruption case.

The latest sentence comes 24 hours after his release on bail in another case, known as the fodder scam, in which Mr Yadav is charged with misappropriating about $100,000.

Both Mr Yadav and another former chief minister of Bihar, Jaganath Misra, who has also been charged in the fodder scam case, have been in and out of jail for the past four years.
