More die in Bangladesh dengue outbreak
Health officials in Bangladesh say three more people have died of dengue fever, bringing the total this year to 11.

All three victims - one adult and two children - died in hospital in the capital, Dhaka, where they were being treated for the mosquito-borne disease.

Reports say up to 15,000 people have been infected in and around the city.

The outbreak is believed to have been exacerbated by a spell of dry weather following the monsoon, which provides ideal conditions for mosquitoes to breed.

The Bangladeshi health ministry last week said it had a management system in place to check the spread of the disease.
