Pakistan loses Bury match
The Pakistani national football team's first match outside the Indian subcontinent has ended in defeat. They lost three-nil to Bury, of the English second division. The Pakistani team are on a tour of Britain to encourage football among the Pakistani community throughout the world. They're also due to meet the premier league team Coventry -- another city with a large ethnic Asian population of Pakistani origin. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
