Are council's nine recycling bins a load of rubbish?

Newcastle-Under-Lyme Council have introduced one of the most complicated systems of household waste recycling so far in the UK.

Households now have to separate their waste into nine different bins and bags.

The Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition who run the council are hoping to boost recycling rates to 50 percent by 2015.

Samantha Kelly, with a some help from her son, Josh showed what they have to do.
