Greenfield calls for Royal Institution reinstatement

Baroness Greenfield has urged the Royal Institution to reinstate her as director, as the most 'cost-effective solution' to its financial problems.

Baroness Greenfield was made redundant in January this year, leading her supporters to argue she has been made a scapegoat for the RI's financial problems. Her opponents say that she is now holding the RI to ransom.

Leading scientists are gathering to vote on a motion that could transform the leadership of the organisation.
