Internet search company Google has said it may end operations in China after alleged breaches of the e-mail accounts of Chinese human rights activists.

Peter Barron from Google said it was no longer willing to censor its Chinese site's results, as the government requires.

The decision might mean the company has to shut its site in China, set up in 2006.
