Shark bite prompts multiple birth

A pregnant shark at an aquarium in Auckland, New Zealand, unexpectedly released four babies after it was bitten by another shark.

An aquarium spokeswoman said visitors saw the injured shark and alerted staff that they had also seen things float from the gaping wound.

When staff moved the mother from the tank, they found a further four sharks inside her.
