Shuttle launch as Moon landing marked


The US space agency Nasa successfully launched the space shuttle Endeavour - at the sixth attempt.

It lifted off on the eve of the 40th anniversary of the launch of Apollo Eleven - the rocket which landed on the Moon and made history when astronauts took their one small step for man and their one giant leap for mankind.
