Ambitious plans to grow 24 million trees to soak up carbon dioxide and restore the rainforest have got under way in Ghana.

The first million seedlings are being planted in a pilot scheme in an area that has been heavily logged in recent years.

To provide a unique view of a logging operation in Ghana, a small camera was fixed to the trunk of a tree before it was felled.

BBC environment correspondent David Shukman travelled to western Ghana to see how the country's logging industry is becoming more responsible.
