Inside Shackleton's Antarctic hut

On his polar expedition in 1908, Sir Ernest Shackleton's team built a small wooden hut on the edge of the Antarctic where they spent an entire winter.

Three descendants of Shackleton and his team have been retracing and completing his journey to the South Pole and found the hut and its contents remarkably well preserved.

Timewatch: In the footsteps of Shackleton is on Saturday 4 April at 2040BST on BBC Two. Also available for seven days at the Timewatch website.
