High-speed battery breakthrough

Charging a laptop battery in just a few minutes or a mobile phone in a few seconds has become a real prospect according to the latest scientific research from the United States.

The breakthrough which involves a new way of manufacturing lithium-ion batteries could make electric cars a much more attractive option in the future.
