Ten amazing facts about bees

For the past five years there have been reports of increasing numbers of unexplained bee deaths all over the world.

While little is known about the cause - and the BBC has been told that a disease suspected of killing billions of bees does not exist - there are lots of things we do know about them.

James Hamill is a fourth generation beekeeper who runs The Hive Honey Shop in south London. Here he gives his top ten amazing facts about bees.
