Predator may control superweed

A plant-eating predator from Japan could be used to control Japanese knotweed in the UK.

Scientists are applying to the government to get permission to release the tiny psyllid.

Here, Dick Shaw from Cabi, a not-for-profit agricultural research organisation, shows the insects' effect on the superweed.
