CMS and the God particle

The Compact Muon Solenoid - or CMS - experiment at the Large Hadron Collider will be hunting for the "holy grail" of physics.

The Higgs boson is a particle that could help to explain key questions about matter in the Universe.

BBC science correspondent David Shukman visited the experiment a few days before it was sealed up.
